National Specialty Alloys is a strong vendor of the Mixing Industry who directly supplies other industry end users such as, Chemical, Food processing, Mining, Waste, etc. Depending on the application, the grades utilized in these industries vary from the simplest stainless such as 304 to some of the most high end corrosion resistant nickel such as 500. Our headquarters in Houston was strategically built to accommodate the Oil/Offshore pump shaft quality (PSQ) demand. National Specialty Alloys PSQ material tolerance, finish, ovality and straightness actually happen to be tighter/cleaner than standard mixing needs. We have always kept PSQ mill stock readily available on the floor. However, we also buy stock in a rough turned over-sized tolerance enabling us to achieve a more reasonable local grinding cost with less waste; making our stock comparable if not cheaper to the Mixing Industries turned ground and polished requests.
